Walt Disney World & World Travels

About

About me…….I’m better at talking about Disney World (favorite place on earth) or food (love to eat and read/write food reviews) not so great at talking about myself.

I am a wife, mom & Disney lover who works as a travel agent specializing in….you guessed it.. Disney travel!

My love of Disney came late. Of course I loved watching Wonderful World of Disney on Sunday nights, and seeing Disney movies but I only got to visit twice as a kid. Each visit was for 1 day and to 1 park. As a 7th grader I went to the Magic Kingdom for a day and as a 10th grader I went to Epcot for a day. It wasn’t until my 1st year of college when the Disney Rep came to recruit for the Walt Disney World College Program that the bug bit me. A summer working/interning at Walt Disney World changed my life forever. I fell in love with everything Disney that summer; I also met and fell in love with my husband while I was there!

A Disney honeymoon and many trips later as a couple then as a family and I’ve learned a lot about planning Disney vacations. Add that to what I learned as a travel & tourism major in school and it only made sense for me to become a Disney Travel Specialist. I’ve now graduated from the Disney College of Knowledge, joined an agency that is an Authorized Disney Travel Planner. Now I get to do what I love as a career!

My whole life doesn’t revolve around Disney, but a good bit of it does. I enjoy spending time on Disney websites, “talking” to other Disney fans. My husband and kids love Disney, so we’re usually planning a trip or talking about a trip we took. Thankfully some of the other things that we’re all interested in go well together: golf, tennis and food.

This blog will have trip reports, dining reviews and some planning tips that I think everyone should know about. Come along for the ride, post and let me know what you think. If there’s something you’d like to hear more about, let me know!
